The Childcare Center of the Hamptons is seeking energetic teachers that have knowledge and experience with children to create healthy, supportive and challenging learning environments. Additionally, this teacher must be able to develop meaningful lesson plans. This teacher should be passionate, nurturing, and an experienced educator to join our childcare program.

Lead Teacher Qualifications

 

Infant And Toddler Lead Teachers 

  • Infant/Toddler CDA

or

  • 9 Early Childhood Education college credits with two years of experience

or

  • Associates degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field

Preschool Lead Teachers

  • Preschool CDA

or

  • 9 Early Childhood Eduction college credits with two years of related experience

or 

  • Associates degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field

Teacher Responsibilities ​

​

  • Responsible for implementing our curriculum

  • Creating a safe space for our children to grow and learn

  • Interacting affectionately and respectfully with the kids. 

  • Expected to work together closely with co-workers, sharing ideas and materials

  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing updates, achievements, developmental milestones through various communication avenues

  • Reliable and punctual
